Supplementary affidavits by Mr Adams claimed to be true are not accepted as genuine by investigating team members such as Advocate Ramsamy and Investigator Rapetsu who do not know the origin of these documents.
“You have Advocate Ramsamy and Investigator Rapetsu who say they do not know where these documents come from.”
There are six independent investigations related to the inquiry, including four supplementary affidavits commissioned by Investigator Rapetsu, addressing the forklift issue, high-ranking officials' security clearances and promotions, concern about General Lushaba, and the use of Secret Service funds to purchase resources for the PKTT.

Statements commissioned by Investigator Rapetsu appear to be internal Crime Intelligence documents and include a statement about theft of equipment.
“...just from a reading of these documents, they purport to be Crime Intelligence documents. They purport to be internal documents. ...”
There are no allegations related to the PKTT in the official section 27 affidavits of Investigator Rapetsu, Advocate Ramsamy, and Chief Perumal, suggesting a discrepancy in the allegations against PKTT.
“our section 27 does not have any reference to PKTT at all ... I do not know ... it makes no sense”
Investigator Rapetsu's statement at paragraph 3 alleges that high-ranking police officials' security clearances and promotions were awarded due to alleged corrupt practices.

Investigator Rapetsu and Advocate Ramsamy did not obtain any statement regarding General Madondo about the questionable appointment issues.

Investigators Advocate Ramsamy, Investigator Rapetsu, and Investigator Perumal went to Cape Town on 6 January 2025 to obtain statements from Mr Adams, gathering around five statements.

Advocates Ramsamy and Investigator Rapetsu took two different statements on the same day, which witnesses say is unlikely as they were together, challenging the legitimacy of the date and signature on some affidavits.
“why would two investigating officers sitting in the same boardroom have taken two different statements on the same day? ... The A1 was not taken in my presence and it could not have been taken on the 6th of January ... Someone was trying to jigga it... it looks like someone was trying to jigga it”
IDAC received the dockets on 9th December after requesting them on 6th December, and they were received by Investigator Rapetsu who shared them with Advocate Ramsami for appraisal.
“We requested them on the 6th of December . They were received on the 9th of December . The dockets when they were received , were received by Investigator Rapetsu . Investigator Rapetsu then shared those dockets with Advocate Ramsami , who already had the 27 and she appraised those dockets together with the section 7 .”
Investigator Rapetsu received the dockets and shared them with Advocate Ramsami who appraised them with section 7 alongside section 27.
“The dockets when they were received , were received by Investigator Rapetsu . Investigator Rapetsu then shared those dockets with Advocate Ramsami , who already had the 27 and she appraised those dockets together with the section 7 .”
After initial appraisal, Mr Rapetsu, Advocate Ramsami, and Mr Perumal engaged with Mr Adams to supplement statements that were not up to standard or sufficient.
“Mr Rapetsu , Advocate Ramsami and Mr Perumal , after having gone through those dockets together with the section 27 , then had further engagements with Mr Adams in order to amplify or supplement the statements that were in the docket , which I guess by interpretation means they were not up to standard or sufficient .”
General Khumalo informed investigators that the dockets were not with him, which led to follow-up inquiries that found the dockets were with the Inspectorate.
“He had informed the investigators that the dockets were not with him ... we then made the follow-up on where the dockets were ... subsequently found out that those dockets were with the Inspectorate”
