Drugs are smuggled into South Africa from Pakistan via Mozambique and other African borders, including Manguni KZN, Komatipoort, Mpumalanga and Beitbridge in Limpopo.

For a tender related to Ngaphesheya in Mpumalanga, Deputy Chief Dhlamini had documents certified by the Private Sector Industry Regulation Authority (PSiRA) and the South African Police Service in Soshuvane dated after the TMPD-1 submission deadline.

The purported Matthews Posa Municipality mentioned by Sergeant Nkosi does not exist; the actual municipality dealing with Ngaphesheya's tender in Mpumalanga is unclear.

Deputy Chief Dhlamini states he was involved in tender processes and referred Sergeant Nkosi to assist with tender documents for a non-TMPD tender related to a non-existent Matthews Phosa Municipality.
“you send to Sergeant Nkosi ... a list of five issues ... As it was indicated by Sergeant Nkosi to say they were dealing with a tender in Mpumalanga ... I do not know ... That is what I indicate ... I referred Sergeant Nkosi to Nico ... Nico would usually send me messages to either forward to Sergeant Nkosi ... It is not your tender. That is not the TMPD tender ... Much as I indicate ... I referred Sergeant Nkosi to Nico ... I was telling Sergeant Nkosi to push Bheki”
Major Phiri borrowed initially R1.5 million from Aluwani and associates, but they later reduced the amount to R1 million due to business concerns, with repayment arrangements including staggered payments and some repayments by Mr Makhwa representing the company.

There was a tender in Mpumalanga involving firearms, but the land invasion tender did not require firearms.
“As Sergeant Nkosi indicated that there was a tender in Mpumalanga that they were busy with. And on those notes that were coming from Mr Mathobela, if you got through them, you will realise that there is a requirement for firearm. And I do not think a tender for land invasion required firearm in that regard. So, I can believe that it was not for the land invasion tender because there are no firearm requirements in the tender for land invasion.”
It is over six months after the bid submission deadline for Tender 1/2425 (October) and Nico still had not ensured the bid was compliant, but this was due to the bid process being closed and no further submission could be made, relating to a different project in Mpumalanga.

The tender is specifically a Tswhane tender, not related to Mpumalanga as claimed by Sergeant Nkosi, who is accused of being untruthful about the tender's location and nature.
