The storage room at Port Shepstone DPCI where the drugs were kept has no proper records in SAPS system; drugs are not recorded anywhere and the diary entries of exhibit handling are misleading, constituting major issues.

It is a storeroom which has drugs in it which are not recorded anywhere on the SAPS system. There is no record of these drugs ... We have no entry of what you did on the 24th. We know you went into this vault, you handled these drugs on the 24th. There is no entry of that in this diary. ... Another false record in this diary. So it is not minor things, it is major things that mislead the reader of the diary.

Keys for Port Shepstone DPCI were held at Port Shepstone and not by the exhibits clerk, contrary to protocol.

No, the keys for Port Shepstone DPCI would be held at Port Shepstone ... So this is another area of non compliance with how things should have been done, that the keys did not remain with the exhibits clerk at Port Shepstone DPCI.
