The documents discussed were about victims, people at Crime Intelligence, and related to the procurement of a forklift.

“The documents were basically talking about the victims ... more or less about the people at Crime Intelligence ... information relating to the procurement of the forklift.”

The grouping of cases involved Lushaba, Madondo, Forklift and PKTT, with no issue related to the name mentioned (Mokwele).

“When we were grouping the cases. It was Lushaba, Madondo, Forklift and PKTT...so if the name could have came up, it will have maybe just randomly came, but not in the context of it being a case to be investigated.”

There was an issue regarding an investigation into a forklift which was not mentioned in the original complaint referral but appeared in the docket and supplementary affidavits.

“One of the issues that I picked up here of the one that was flighted, is there is no mention of a forklift at all, but Mr Raphes will confirm that we received, we just had to trace it, Langlaagte docket for a forklift, and it was in the 27 referral. And the supplementaries that we took was one of them for the forklift and the first three witnesses that were identified were from the forklift documents.”
