A Member of Parliament alleged that General Khumalo and senior managers, together with General Lushaba, abused COVID funds, and that General Masemola might be involved in some of these allegations.
“… the very last paragraph, it says and further suspects, this is the Member of Parliament, he makes the allegation about General Khumalo, senior managers, together with General Lushaba, for abusing COVID funds … and further suspects that the National Commissioner, General Masemola, may be involved in some of these allegations.”
Mr Perumal and Mr Padayachee were in Cape Town in November 2024 and stayed at a Formula One hotel due to a shortage of hotels, which embarrassed them because they met with a Member of Parliament there.
“Mr Perumal complained to me that when him and Mr Padayachee were in Cape Town in November 2024, there was a shortage of hotels and they were forced to stay at the Formula One hotel. Lieutenant General PAJ Jacobs in a memo dated 1st November requested a report on a complaint received from a Member of Parliament, showing passing of the complaint through to the National Commissioner and issues of complicity and irregular handling by the Division Inspectorate regarding Mr Adams' complaint and referral of seven dockets to IDAC against corruption.

The purpose of the information note is to provide a response to the allegation that one, the Division Inspectorate was complicit and irregular in the handling of these service complaints levelled by Mr Adams, and two, to reflect on a averment that the Division Inspectorate irregularly handed seven dockets to the Investigating Directorate against corruption, IDAC.”
The Ministry of Police received a complaint from a Member of Parliament about interference or interception of CAS dockets in Western Cape and Orlando, and urgently instructed a report from the investigating office by 4 November 2024 at 15h00.

The complaints about Brigadier Mokwele's appointment, including allegations of no policing experience for a Brigadier, were also laid by a Member of Parliament and others.

Mr Mogotsi states that the person assaulted in the raid and whose wife was assaulted had a case opened for them by his co-handler, not Mr Mogotsi himself.
