The scandalous News24 article (Annexure O) alleges that General Khan's ticket to an EFF Gala dinner was paid for by associates allegedly involved in illicit tobacco trade.

According to a News24 article, Triotic Protection Services had lucrative security contracts at ANC Madibeng Municipality in the northwest and Lephalale as of February 2023, with Modise as sole director and shareholder until that time.
