The accused were given a bail condition by a Magistrate prohibiting them from going to any Crime Intelligence office, which effectively suspended them from their offices and employment, though this condition was not asked for by the State prosecution in open court.

It is unlawful to disclose affidavits to the accused that are not the original affidavits but rather scanned copies, which amounts to misleading the court about full disclosure of the docket.

The criminal case against the accused was ultimately withdrawn by the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP), effectively burying the matter.

A letter sent by the accused's attorneys in May 2025 to follow up on alleged re-enrolment was never responded to.

The letter from the accused's attorneys speaks of a provisional withdrawal awaiting the decision of the National Prosecuting Service in 2024, and does not mention a final withdrawal in 2022.

Photographs of the scene were taken by Skynet personnel without interference by the accused, and the accused could not later deny the existence of drugs or allegations against them.
