Lieutenant Jacob was told to speed up the finalisation of the investigation to have the exhibit sent to FSL for destruction but more samples and space were needed at FSL.

“I called Lieutenant Jacob and told him to speed up the finalisation of the investigation in order for the exhibit to be sent to FSL for destruction. If I recall correctly, Lieutenant Colonel Jacob told me that he went to Amanzimtoti FSL but that they needed more samples”

Colonel Jacob denies responsibility for the eventual theft of drugs stored at Amanzimtoti FSL and places blame on higher officials.

“In no manner or form whatsoever, Commissioner.”
