Presidency sent a stern warning to Police Chiefs including National Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Fannie Masemola and Crime Intelligence Head Lieutenant General Dumisane Khumalo for corruption, fraud, and theft of crime intelligence funds.

“Presidency sends out stern warning to Police Chiefs, National Police Commissioner, and Crime Intelligence Head. President Ramaphosa and GNU parties asked the ID and the Independent Investigative Director to probe the National police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Fannie Masemola and Lieutenant General Dumisane Khumalo of corruption, fraud, and the theft of crime intelligence funds.”

National Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Fannie Masemola appeared weak and shaken when confronted by the Independent Directorate and was served arrest notices for five senior Crime Intelligence officers including Lieutenant General Khumalo.

“National Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Fannie Masemola appeared weak and shaken when confronted by the ID. ID had served him with arrest notices for five senior officers within Crime Intelligence division, including its National Head, Lieutenant General Khumalo.”
