Captain Dale Nortje

On 22 July 2022, the informant agreed to meet with Captain Dale Nortje from DPCI at Sanebat Moraka police station, recording the meeting due to intuition and suspicion about the arresting team's lack of regard for justice.

“On 22nd July 2022, I had agreed to meet with Captain Dale Nortje from DPCI Sanebat Moraka police station. I kept a record of my whereabouts when I agreed to meet and had decided to record, as I had an intuition that the case may form part of the conversation and it was an opportunity to get to the truth regarding the games being played by the DPCI arresting team having no regards for justice”

Mr Nku did not refer solely to Chief Mashaba in providing intelligence but gained acquaintance with a DPCI member, Captain Dale Nortje, who was part of the arresting team and started providing information directly to DPCI members.
