Director Malatji says he was not aware of any reasons why the tender was taken to court or the basis for the litigation.

Director Malatji was intimately involved throughout the tender process including development of specifications, being a member of the Bid Evaluation Committee (BEC), evaluating bids, preparing reports for bid adjudication, yet claims ignorance of litigation related to missing documents.

I find it very strange ... you are intimately involved from the beginning, through all stages, but just before evaluation... you turn your back and forget the whole thing ... you have no idea what happened”
