General Nhlanhla Mkhwanzi

General Sibiya expressed concern over a prolonged lack of good relations with General Nhlanhla Mkhwanzi in KZN, a situation known to Minister Cele who failed to resolve it before retirement, and that the National Commissioner also attempted unsuccessfully to intervene.

“General Sibiya called me to tell me that I must come see him in his office ... He told me that he is worried that he and General Mkhwanazi are not getting along, and this has been happening for a long time, and even Minister Cele knew about it, and he did nothing to solve the problem until he went on pension.
