Special Task Force

Sergeant Nkosi was not aware that there was a parallel investigation team on Mr Matlala, which was mostly composed of KZN officers except General Mkhwanazi.

“I did not know that there was another team that was investigating Mr Matlala parallel. The people who were there is special task force. And most of them is from KZN. I do not know anyone from KZN except General Mkhwanazi.”

A message at 2am on 6 December 2024 stated that the Special Task Force had arrived at an address awaiting results.

“You forwarded to Mr Sibanyoni a message saying: “Sure, STF have arrived at the address awaiting results.””
