Deputy Chief Dhlamini claims the CFO will provide mental wellness, guidance and support to Sergeant Nkosi although they have only met at formal municipal meetings and have no personal relationship.

“He will provide guidance also ... You have absolutely no personal relationship with him ... You know that the CFO will support Sergeant Nkosi ...”

Deputy Chief Dhlamini confirmed standard municipal internal systems exist to find employees' contact details but stated his own cellphone number is not on the City system.

“In organisations such as the municipality Tshwane Municipality, there is an internal system or the network where if you are looking for somebody's name and you want to know which department they are, their email address and phone number, you can easily do that.”

Sergeant Nkosi asserts that MMC Morodi knew he was an outsider with no official capacity in Tshwane but still asked him to get municipal information through his relationships.

“That she knew that you , an outsider , had a relationship in the municipality which allow you to get access to municipal information .”

Advocate Khumalo asserts that Sergeant Nkosi was pulling strings related to tenders and recruitment processes in the City of Tshwane without being authorized to do so, but Sergeant Nkosi denies this.

“you were pulling strings in relation to tenders at the Tshwane Municipality, but you were also pulling strings in relation to recruitment processes that had nothing to do with you.”

Sergeant Nkosi denies having any interest in the land leases from the Tshwane Municipality, stating it was just a discussion topic between him and the woman who sent the document.

“I did not have any interest”

An individual had previously been employed by the Tshwane Municipality as a senior admin before moving to Rustenburg.
