“I said I do not know them. And then they said prove it that you do not know them.... I need to prove that I have nothing to do with the case because I did not know what they want, because I did not know anything about the Port Shepstone case.”

In June 2018, a 24-hour security arrangement was made for high value exhibits stored at the location, specifically for a Port Shepstone drug lab case involving Mandrax tablets.

“That happened in June 2018.”

In 2018, LT-COL PRINSLOO arranged 24-hour security for a Port Shepstone case due to the known short duration the exhibits would be stored.

“I did that at that stage, Commissioner... because then we knew it was for one or two days maximum.”
