The Financial Intelligence Centre found no suspicious or unusual transaction reports linked to Warrant Officer Karl Sander under sections 28 and 29 of the FIC Act and no unusual transactions on bank accounts obtained via section 05.

FIC received no cash threshold reports with reference to section 28 of the FIC Act ... No unusual or suspicious transactions found on the suspect ’s bank accounts records obtained through section 05”
An investigation registered under reference DPCI KZN DR 04/2024 found Warrant Officer Karl Sander guilty of not disclosing he was a director of a shooting club; he was given a verbal warning on 10 March 2025.
