KZN DPCI

The head of the KZN DPCI must be engaged multiple times to answer about knowledge, application, and approval of conduct by members under his authority regarding relevant matters.

“there will be interrogation about the knowledge, the application, and approval of conduct by the Head of the KZN DPCI of members that resort under his authority and that engagement must be heard to understand... whether it was incompetence or it is deliberate.”

Prior to the February 2024 complaint, a July 2023 complaint was received from the office of the DPCI Judge about a certain Captain formerly with SANEB, relating to white members of the KZN DPCI in SANEB and other units working with drug syndicates. Lieutenant Colonels Jacoba and Dwarika were assigned to investigate but no outcome has been reported.

“Prior to the February 2024 complaint, another complaint was received from the office of the DPCI Judge in July 2023 about a certain Captain who used to work at SANEB, but the name of Warrant Officer Sander was not mentioned. The complaint contained the Captain and the complaint was about white members of the KZN DPCI in SANEB and other units working with drug syndicate. Lieutenant Colonel Jacoba and Lieutenant Colonel Dwarika were assigned to investigate the complaint, but to date there has not been no outcome.”

Brigadier Nyuswa was the Provincial Commander for Serious Organised Crime within KZN DPCI and was formerly in that position in North West, reporting to Maj-Gen Senona at the time of this case.

“Brigadier Nyuswa is the Provincial Commander for Serious Organised Crime within KZN DPCI , Commissioner . ... That is correct , Commissioner . ... By then he would have been reporting to Maj - Gen Senona .”
