Lieutenant Colonel Jacob was appointed as investigating officer replacing Warrant Officer Mpangase and informed Lt Colonel Prinsloo, requesting to weigh the exhibits in November 2021.
“‘On the 4th of November 2021, I received a call from Lieutenant Colonel Jacob. The one we spoke about earlier, from the Durban Serious Organized Crime Investigation. He informed me that he was appointed as the investigating officer, replacing Warrant Officer Mpangase presumably. He asked me when I will be available, as he needed to come to the office to weigh the exhibits. I told him that I was not available the following week, from the 8th to the 12th of November 021, as I was going to a workshop. I told him that I would be available the week after that.’”
