There was suspicion and investigation into the changing of exhibit bags involving Warrant Officer Morriss and Captain Nortje, because of discrepancies between forensic reports and statements.

We noticed the drugs were removed from Booysens and later were at Pretoria College, with rumors of drugs stolen; wanted a separate investigation on the changing of exhibit bags.

The area where the exhibits were kept at Pretoria College is not an SAPS safe and usual check-in procedures do not exist there.

the college or the area in which the exhibits were kept is not an SAPs safe ... the check-in that are usually done at SAP registers and a clerk and all of that, that does not exist at a college

Lt-Col Sebola states it is only appropriate to keep exhibits at Pretoria College if he is acquainted with the security arrangements there; otherwise, he does not accept it as appropriate.

I will say it is appropriate only if I have acquainted myself with the type of the security where it is supposed to be ... But if it was just dropped or taken to a place where the security is questionable, that I will not accept to be appropriate
