“I can confirm that I was present on this scene and give the overwhelming and significant scope of the seizure and the complexity in circumstances at the CHC Depot. My actions were limited, transparent, consistent with the duties of the subordinate officer , mainly providing support and manpower. There is no actual basis to suggest I was a party to the design or coincided that Major General Flynn alleges. I wish to inform the Commission of my strong commitment to policy . Having served diligently in the force for the past two decades with pride , I categorically state that I was not involved in the theft of this exhibit. Additionally , at the time of the incident , I was attending training at SAPS Paarl Academy in Western Cape. The course commenced on the 17th October 2021 to the 3rd December . During this duration of training , I only travelled once to Durban, KZN on the 29th October 2021 till the 2nd November 2021.”
