General Dlamini sent a list of seven companies on 11 March, identified by the Red Berets, asking to check authenticity with Mfowethu.
“The above is from the Red Berets . Please check with Mfowethu if it is the same with his from CIC Juju to verify the authenticity .”
Sergeant Nkosi was intermediary for communications between General Dlamini and the CFO regarding preferred companies for demolition tenders.
“What it seems to me is taking place here is once again, you are placing yourself as the conduit for communications between the General and the CFO and you have asked the General in the wake of last week's conversation about these seven extra companies that the Red Berets want.”
General Dlamini sent Sergeant Nkosi a list of seven companies associated with the Red Berets to check with Mfowethu (Mr Mnisi) to verify authenticity.
“After noon Captain... The above is from the Red Berets. Please check with Mfowethu...to verify the authenticity.”
Sergeant Nkosi explains General Dlamini sent him messages to forward to the CFO to verify companies supposedly representing the EFF, and asked Mr Mnisi to check with Mr Malema about the companies' authenticity.
“The General was sending me this message to send it to the CFO so that he must verify...”
Sergeant Nkosi admits forwarding messages from General Dlamini, including lists of companies and requests to verify with Mr Mfowethu (Mr Mnisi).
“What you then did is you forwarded those two messages to the CFO.”
