SAP 13 facility

In a major drugs seizure, relevant team leaders and commanders have responsibilities for inspections and overseeing investigations, ensuring all leads are followed and exhibits are correctly submitted to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL).

General Senona took possession of the strongroom keys and a proper audit process includes conducting an audit and handing over of the SAP 13 facility and vault keys.

“It is in fact a very simple process , but the key holder , obviously when you take over a SAP 13 facility , you need to obviously conduct a proper audit of all the exhibits there . ... there needs to be a proper handing over of that facility then , obviously as well as the key or keys to the SAP 13 or the vault .”
