Mr Msibi's son

Sergeant Nkosi gave multiple versions of the story concerning the card and jet ski, including that Mr Msibi's son asked him to collect the jet ski from Mr Matlala’s farm, and that Mr Matlala requested him to look for a card and driver's license in the jet ski's dash, which he could not deliver immediately due to being busy.

“The version in the handwritten statement is that in December 2024 or January 2025, Mr Msibi's son asked you to go and fetch the jet ski from Mr Matlala's farm. You collected the jet ski from Mr Matlala's farm. Later that week, Mr Matlala asked you to look for a card and a driver's license in the dash of the jet ski. You could not take it to him because you were busy.”

Sergeant Nkosi sent a photo of a bakkie hijacked from Mr Msibi's son to Mr Msibi on or before 8 August 2021.

“I have sent him a bakkie and I remember at that time, this bakkie was hijacked.”

The bakkie sent to Mr Msibi was his son's bakkie which was hijacked.
