Road Traffic Act

Chief Mashaba admitted that the Road Traffic Act does not authorize Traffic Officers to go to private premises such as warehouses to conduct searches and seizures.

“Now is there anywhere in that section where it says a Traffic Officer can go to private premises of a business and conduct a search and seizure operation ? No .”
