Section 33(3) of IPID Act, 1 of 2011

Section 33(3) of the IPID Act states failure to comply with Section 29 is an offence punishable by fine or imprisonment up to 2 years.

“Whereas Section 33 (3) of IPID Act, 1 of 2011, stipulates that any police officer who fails to comply with section 29 is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction for a fine or imprisonment for a period not exceeding 2 years.”
