Mashaba's superior

Chief Mashaba was responsible for the operation but his boss confirms he did not place Mashaba in charge of it and Mashaba acted without informing his boss.

“I can confirm that I did not place Mashaba … on duty of the activity he was performing at the time of his arrest and he did not even inform me about it .”
