Musian and Sipho used claims of association with the CFO and of bidding for the CIC Juj site falsely, seeking help from Deputy Chief Dhlamini.
“They said I mean the they were with the CFO only to find it is not true . ... They said , if I have a way . ... they are bidding for the CIC Juju .”
Deputy Chief Dhlamini clarified that the message he sent asking Sergeant Nkosi to check with CFO Mfowethu from CIC Juj was to verify if the CFO had the same list of companies given to him by Musian and Sipho, who claimed to be from CIC Juj.
“The message was saying check if this is the same , that is what they said , they gave the CFO the same list .”
Musian and Sipho claimed to be from the CIC and bidding for the CIC Juj, but they were not really bidding for the EFF.
“They said they are from the CIC , the Sipho and Muzi claim to be , I mean bidding for the CIC Juj . ... Yes .”
