Booking out exhibits means making an entry in the SAP13 register that the exhibits have been taken out, and re-entry is required on return to the register.

There is a discrepancy in the count of 715 drug blocks reported by Warrant Officer Morris and Captain Nortje compared to the 700 blocks recorded in the SAP13 register.

Exhibit management is critical; improper management can be fatal to successful prosecutions. Exhibits must be sealed in forensic seal bags and entered in SAP13 registers at police stations where they were found or crime committed.
