Warrant Officer Mpangase had no control over when the investigating officer would take the exhibits for analysis and acknowledged the investigating officer could delay this for days or months.

“You had no control over that, did you? No. ... The IO could have done this the following day, they could have done it after three days, they could have done it after four months for all you know. Correct? Yes.”

Warrant Officer Mpangase insists the entry makes sense to him as it refers to items going to be investigated eventually, not immediately, so timing was the investigating officer's responsibility.

“Yes, to me it makes sense because the entry ... is about things that were going to be investigated ... When the IO would investigate, it is none of my concern.”
