General Khan used his relationship with an alleged tobacco smuggler to plant questions to Inspector General Dintwe through the EFF, aiming to trap the Inspector General into lying to Parliament to justify his removal.

General Khan and Mr Malema used their positions within the EFF and their relationship to attempt to trick Inspector General Dintwe into lying, potentially to have him removed from office.

General Khan may have obtained the information behind the questions to Inspector General Dintwe by virtue of his position and used it inappropriately.

General Khan and Mr Marimuthu had a meeting with Inspector General Dintwe, aiming to have Dintwe lie regarding an issue connected to Mr Marimuthu, as Dintwe was not present at a relevant committee event.

The meeting involving General Khan, Inspector General Dintwe, and Mr Marimuthu concerned sensitive Crime Intelligence issues which should not have been shared with just anybody regardless of their relationships or profession.
