Lieutenant General Shibiri indicates the requester of assistance went to multiple people including in KwaZulu-Natal, showing desperation and that he knocks on all doors regardless of personal connection.
“he went to everybody, including to KZN looking for assistance . He can go to anybody, irrespective of he knows you or not . So when he is desperate, he knocks all the doors .”
Lieutenant General Shibiri owed the requester money at the time the requester asked him for assistance.
“At the time that you say he asks you for assistance , you owe him money, in fact , at that point .”
Lieutenant General Shibiri admitted that the requester told others at Shibiri's house on the 6th that Shibiri was his person, insinuating a close relationship.
“when there was that operation at his house, on the 6th , he told people , he seemed to have said that you are his person .”
Lieutenant General Shibiri mentioned he reprimanded the requester via a phone call between two chats, specifically after a message saying 'too bad'.
“There is chat 5, it is a phone call . So you reprimanded him after you said too bad ? Yes .”
Lieutenant General Shibiri received a confidential internal audit report from the requester on 22 March 2025 and reprimanded him the next morning on 23 March 2025 at 10:30 am for sending it.
“The following day is the 23rd of March 025 , at 10 : 30 in the morning . All you say to him is , good morning , is too bad . So when did your reprimand him for sending you what is clearly a confidential internal audit report ?”
