Witness I initially told Colonel Seobe he had a family thing to attend, not that he was going to High Court.

Witness I did not inform their immediate superior, Colonel Seobe (acting Unit Commander), that they were following a lead and would report back later; instead, they told her they were going to Johannesburg High Court.

“Why did you not say to Colonel Seobe ... I am now following on a lead and I will come back to report to you once I know what is going on?”

Witness I admits they should have told Colonel Seobe they were following a lead and would report back.

“I should have done that, Commissioner.”
