Warrant Officer Magane stated that one cannot easily lift fingerprints from plastic, only from metal, indicating contamination of the bags' fingerprints and DNA might not be as critical as supposed.

Warrant Officer Magane accepted that not wearing gloves would have made it difficult for LCRC later to conduct a proper job of lifting fingerprints and DNA from the bags because now it is contaminated with their own DNA and fingerprints.
