Mr Matlala declines to answer questions about delivery of Impalas to General Sibiya or any gratifications, invoking right against self-incrimination as the matter is under investigation.

There was an exchange of messages on 21 March 2024 regarding the delivery of Impalas to General Sibiya's home, six months before the first meeting between Mr Matlala and General Sibiya as stated.

“You got a voice call forwarded to you by Mr Matlala on the 21st of March asking for details as to where the Impalas should be delivered”
