Warrant Officer Magane stated that the BMW vehicle was parked about 300 metres from the scene and not closer.
“the car that the Commissioner is referring to, it was parked inside, but it was not closer to the scene of crime. It was about 300 metres from the scene.”
Warrant Officer Magane insists the BMW was about 300 metres away, no intent or possibility existed to place any bag from the scene into the BMW.
“I agree it was in the same vicinity. But there was no intention of, and it was not going to be possible for any bag whatsoever to be taken from the scene and be put inside that BMW.”
Evidence was shown of the inside of a BMW vehicle with an emblem on the steering and with an amount of money that looked like cash inside the vehicle, which was not explained by Warrant Officer Magane.
“On page 33, the top picture, it is quite clear there is an amount of money there ... Do you know anything about that money? ... Not at all. I do not have any idea ... it is Mr Nku's car and he had with him an amount of R60000”
