A tip-off complaint against General Khan was lodged on 24 May 2021 but General Sitole did not respond to the complaint.
“I supply that tip-off on the 24th of May, and here we are 30 days later, or 31 days later, a month later, on the 24th of June, with this complaint coming through from Ian Levitt addressed to General Sitole ... Now, General Sitole never came back to me about my complaint.”
Ian Levitt Attorneys, on behalf of General Khan, wrote a letter to the National Commissioner complaining about a tip-off complaint implicating General Khan, alleging unethical conduct by complainant Paul O'Sullivan and access to personal information in contravention of POPI Act.
